AfrISPA is a continental Association of African Internet Service Provider Associations.
AfrISPA was formed at two meetings on the 1st and 2nd August 2001 by attendees
at the ACT Summit in Pretoria, South Africa. Minutes of the first meeting
and second meeting and documents of the association are on this site.

AITEC EUROPE
Mr. Eric M.K Osiakwan, Executive Secretary of AfrISPA was in London to represent the organisation at the AITEC EUROPE event from 17th to 19th November @ Chelsea Hotelin Chelsea Village where he spoke about AfrISPA and The Halfway Proposition.

AfrISPA addresses the thirty-fifth Session of the Commission/Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
Mr William Stucke, Chairman of AfrISPA, intervened on behalf of the Organisation in respect of African Actions in support of NEPAD Priority Area 4 (Data, Information and Communications) and elaborated on the reasons for the so called 'Digital Divide'.
